Static compression ratio is around 14:1 depending on valve recess. That can be raised or lowered if need be.

I hate to ask a stupid question, but I assume these are overbore kits for the 301 (2800/2900)?

Are these rebuild kits strictly for pulling or are they for field tractors, too?

Designed to fit directly into a 301 block and yes for pulling engines.
