Possibly trading my cub 124 for a Landlord. Has just a deck, hydro lift and rear lift. Worth it? How hard is it to find a blade and blower for it? Anything I should look at on it? Never messed with Allis or Simplicity garden tractors. It's one that looks like a B1 Allis. Thanks.

Great looking tractor...well worth the asking price, with the OEM rear light and hydrolift.  Attachments are extremely easy to find.

The hydrolift is worth nearly $300 on it's own.  Great looking machine.  The big thing to check is the bevel gear box.  They run a solid drive shaft from the engine back to a gearbox roughly under your butt on the seat.  One side runs the tranny and one side runs the deck.  Easily rebuilt, but bearings and seals add up to some good money.  Flip the seat up and you can check the play on the side shaft.  Attachments are very readily available and are pretty easy to find on the east coast.  A 3 angle blade sould run around $100 or so.  They have a 5 angle adjust from the seat trips like a modern snowplow blade that runs around $150 or so.  A good single belt blower runs $100-$200 ish.  A 3 belt which is more complicated and can't be shut off from the seat is $25-$100.  Everyone wants the single.

Yes that is the correct blower for the '60s Landlords. It is the single belt blower. Make sure you get any attaching rods or linkages he has for it or else you will have to make them.

I've got a 42" blade I'd sell, but Iowa is a bit of a trip from PA.  There is a Facebook page for us mower guys, and a great mower club on line as well.  I've been using a blade but got a blower this year.  Blade hasn't been used once.  The blower is just awesome.

$225 for the blade and blower?  Is it the 42" or 46 blade?  As long as you have all the lift and engaging rods, you did just fine.  Make sure you get a genuine Simplicity belt for that blower.  Simplicity # 1721533sm.

Not sure on blade width. Does it make much of a difference? Other than a few inches or is one better than the other?

The 42" blade was a 3 angle get off the seat to change setup.  The 46" blade is a 5 angle that could be changed from the seat and is spring loaded like a pickup mounted snow plow.
Here is a picture of a 42" blade on my B110.  Don't have a shot of my 46".  I'll get one of those tomorrow for you.

Benny,
To bad on the deal falling through. I have a bunch of Cubs and Cub implements, but after hanging around here for a while those 720's look like pretty nice machines!
Regards,
 Chris
