Would one from a 190 work?  Just curious.

I think the early straight 190 would work or an early xt gasser. Diesels xt's had a field installed updated rear end.

The gears on my XTD are flaking a little bit.  I am planning to rotate them so that the backside gets used.  There is still lots of metal there.

Might be sometihng for you to consider too if they are not too worn.

I have been told that the bull pinion from a One Ninty will work but need to be carefull to get same tooth count or replace both sides.   I'm gonna look it over close to see if reversing is an option.  Thanks for the sugestions  JCinPA
