My wc is serial number wc82767, I think that is a late 38.It has no holes in the hood for the small starter tank. The engine casting number is u3019-23, It had a wd manifold and air cleaner on it. I am wondering if it is still the original engine or did somebody put a wd in it? The left side of the engine has a patch plate over it and I cant see the numbers. It also has a starter and generator, but I think that has been added as the wiring for the charging system is cobbed up and incomplete. What do you guys think? Thanks.

The serial # would make it a 1939. Not sure on the motor.
