 Saved a Ca today from a scrap yard  today. It had a square box with shifting handle  bolted in front of the trans . Thinking its a two speed up or down or straight threw box any ideas who made it and was it installesd by allis?

Sherman overdrive, more commonly known as a step up or step down transmission.

cool find. I'm still in high school so all of this stuff is kind of interesting to me.  I'm amazed at how much the M&W hand clutches are going for on ebay so I imagine this thing has some value to it.

I Got the box out today to my surprise it has a low and a high and a stright threw 25% up 25% down should have sean the smile on my 14yr old sons face with the words can we put it in my Ca Dad ?
