Tires on my WC are in severe need of change, mismatched/rotten.  I plan on attending a couple tractor pulls with it after I get the head gasket replaced.  I have found a good set of 11.2 X 26, is that a good size for all around use and some tractor pulls?  Tires are supposed to be stock size or one size bigger allowed.

That's aweful small, a good WC will turn 16.9-26s no problem id say 13.6 26s would be better i run 14.9 and 16.9s on mine

I am pretty sure that one size over would be 14.9 and wc came with 24,28 and 36.Might what to check the rules on Od. size before you get 26 inch tires. 13.6x28 might be the way to go depends on what kind of track you have clay or sand.

13.6x28 is a good size to pull with on a WC. That's what I ran until I went to 38's

Most tracks I've seen around here are clay.  I want to stay with original rims, what size would you recommend?

The 14.9 x 24 tires on our 37 & 38 WC pullers have worked fine for us on the stock rims. The 37 is on spokes and the 38 is pressed steel discs. Both of these style rims are fairly narrow 6 to 8 inches wide and conventional wisdom says this is a poor combination...our trophy shelf says otherwise!! Actually the tires on both tractors are intended for use on center pivot irrigation systems. The 37 has one Goodyear 45 degree and one Firestone 30 degree mismatched set and the 38 tires are 30 degree Chinese generic "Irrigation Special" tires.

Mines a '36 unstyled.  Will the 14.9 x 24 fit under the fenders with no modifications?
