Like a little help on what size/brand of carb i should run on my WC. i have 327 ci and running a custom header/intake because my club allows it and i do not want to cut and grind on the original cast intake. Also what is a decent size tube to run for the exhaust and intake? Thanks guys!

I ran one of those big Bendix carbs (190XT) on a 390 inch engine and it worked just fine.

Dr. Allis, do you know the size of the venturi in the 190 carb?

I do not. I see in the 190XTG Service Manual it is a size #30 and the straight 190 is size #28. You'll be surprised how well it will work and the more RPM the better.

so would you recommend the bendix over the holley?

The best thing you can do with the Holley is leave it in the box of your pickup with the tailgate open and go for a long drive.

I'll second the Doc on that! As a matter of fact, use it as a wheel chock! Then back over it..... I believe I have a couple of those large bore Zenith/Bendix dudes on the shelf if interested. I can mildly message one for ya if interested... Call or drop me an e-mail.

Dr. Allis, awhile back you told me a place where a guy can by carb parts to customize a carb. I wrote it down and since I lost it I was wondering if you could tell me the website again. Thanks
