It has been a treat seeing tractors big and small in the farm equipment forum. I have enjoyed seeing some project updates and some finished products, but I think Its time to recognize the little lawn and garden tractors! anything you got...abandoned, work horse, project, show quality, as long as its AC...or related. Thanks!

I believe that this also fits in the garden tractor category...if not, don,t look at the picture...one of my 5015s

And while not a garden tractor...it fits in lawn and garden...my 3 1/2 hp roto tiller

I have 3 more 720s without pictures plus some implements without pictures.   Maybe I'll get some in the future.  I keep telling myself that I will but it never happens.  Den

Merle, The one with no deck and the buddy seat I sometimes take to tractor shows to ride around on; since I don't have a golf cart. That same buddy seat will also fit on my WD 45 for tractor rides.

Work in lazyness is when u'r working on a "man project' that has nothing to do with
what u'r wife may consider  a valued input to the benefit of her way of thinking.

I see a lot of good lookin' and interesting equipment so far Thumbs Up. looks like a lot of time and money well spent on these machines! Den, looks like you can tackle about any job with your fleet. Im looking to get a box blade for my 616 as soon as its affordable. that little tiller looks sharp, I dont see to many of them around.  Rick, are your three restored or did you luck out on condition? I like that double seat on the 608LT and its great it works with on your WD45! my wife said it would make a neat wedding photo with a just married sign and tin cans dragging along. ACmowerguy, you have a nice fleet as well! they all look to be in great shape. great pic of that 710 6spd, looks like it tills well. makes me even more ready for spring...as i bet most are. I found a 712s here in sothern Il in Christopher for 200..typical, its 200 more than i have. if it ended up at my house id end up with a knot on my head form the wife.lol.  Crewcheif, did you loose your project or gain an assistant? lol looks like with that smile she may have some orange in her blood. that hot rod looks amazing, very creative!Clap Steve, that is one mean looking B-110. I bet its a beast at the pulls! the 716H looks great and does a swell job. what is that sticking up behind the seat?? the 720 project looks to be coming along nicely. looking forward to see some results on current projects and hope to be seeing some more equipment soon!

Chuck,
If you look close, that's the front of the Snowblower behind the wife. The Snowblower is Orange also, but not AC. Its a Noma. (Murrey) Bought that new about 18 years ago. Been a great machine. I do the sidewalks and around the Tractors with that. Has a 9HP Tecumseh Snow King for power. Runs great, tosses the lighter snow 25-30 ft and its powerful for what it is. Original paint shines like that day I bought it! Always wax it and keep the oil clean in it...

In progress in Monte Vista:

The B-1.  A carb rebuild kit and a few other goodies and she'll be purrin' like a kitten!

She's got a new battery, new spark plug and left front tube; the engine oil has been changed, and she could use a coat o' paint.  Little by little, tho... :-)

The B-110 needs more parts and might also need a carb rebuild.

She also has a new sparkplug and new oil in the engine, gearbox and differential/transmission.

I'm learning lots about these little yellow B's!

JPR- looks like you are on the right path. i like how stout that B-1 is is built, they dont build that tough anymore. the B-110 looks good and straight! grown quite fond of yellow, hope i can drag on home somday. Dseries4- that is a good lookin 620 and snow thrower. i waited mowing my open areas for a month so i can try out the 616, and it cut the thicker spots like butter...bet 20 under the hood is a beast! Crewcheif- thanks! it hit me when was tryin to go to sleep one night.lol. can't tell you how many times ive scrolled the show-n-tell threads.

That is Jason's, he has had it htee when out at the farm, but not recently. Much like the guys with the narrow front farm tractors, you need to bring a third ramp.

While not a AC they are a Simplicity.
1964 Landlord FIL bought new in 1964 to mow the yard and till the garden. He bought a snow blower later for it when one big storm dumped so much snow he could not move it enough with a blade.
Today it is just the winter blower tractor and is 100% original even the engine.

Dad bought this 7112 brand new in May of 1972 Still have the sales receipt. Dad made it the mower tractor and used the blade on it for light snow removal in the winter.

http://smg.photobucket.com/user/oldgrumpy/media/my%20tractors/thenewtractor-1.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">

When dad passed away his oldest daughter moved in and started doing the lawn mowing. neighbors on both sides had got new lawn tractors and she kept complaining about it smoking and stalling. Mom bought a new Simplicity in 2009 and the dealer did want it so mom gave it to me. I have mowed the tight spots around the place with it for 3 years and ya it does need a over haul but has never stalled for me.

http://smg.photobucket.com/user/oldgrumpy/media/Small%20engine%20things/20130527_0364_zps14988bff.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">

I bought this 6517 new in August of 1988. Has been a good tractor although not as well built as the 7112 or old land lord. It has got my lawn mowed for many a year. I did get sick of the crappy steering and made new linkage with snow mobile tie rod ends so I can adjust the slop out and avoid this little ball pin things they saw fit to use.
I would like to get a blade for it but have never seen one for it and havn't any Idea how the lift system would work.

Here is my AC, the biggest of the 900 class, the 920 Diesel.  Lombardini 10LD400-2 Direct injected twin cylinder diesel, 18.5hp.  Bout the only GT that would make me let this one go is a nice 620 or 720 as I am a huge Onan fan.  Mike

The 919H actually was actually king of the mountain for rated hp, in the Allis garden tracor line...don't see many of those though! (But the diesels are my personal favorite)

I actually had a neighbor ask me once if there was something wrong with my old 920. I told them thats what an engine sounds like when its trying to jump out of a tractor.

I forgot about the 919h, just dont see them hardly ever.  We had a Gravely in the shop with that 19.5 Kohler twin in it, I was supprised to see such poor parts support for it from Kohler, where as I can get pretty much anything for the smaller HP twins.  Probably why so little of them are still running.   I would take the diesel over the twin Kohler, less fuel used and about the same hp and probably more torque from the diesel.  But I will still take the bigger 620 as I need a 3pt more than I need to mow grass anymore.  I rarely put the mower on the 920.  I think I have put the mower on 1 time.  If anybody has a 620/720 and wants a diesel, lets talk.   Mikie

Hey Orange4ever!
Are they 4.00x12 3 ribs on the front of the first 620? That's what I plan on putting on my 620 if they're 4.00x12's...

Yes they are, it has the ag tires. Also on the 620 with loader, the front tires are the high captaincy 6 by 9's that we're recommended by the brochures. And we also have the Brinly harrow, disc, tillers, rear blade, snow blower, snow plows, a sears( made by haban) rear mower and a 3point chain drag -Tom

Thanks Tom! I have a loader for my 620 which I will install this summer. What size front tire do they recommend for the 620 w/loader? I guess the larger tire handles the weight load better? I was eventually gonna purchase a set of 12x4 wheels for the 400x12's that I have to install on the front of mine. I better keep the stock front wheels (their in great shape) that came on the Tractor and get the correct suggested size tire for the loader uh? Thought I read those 400 ribs were rated at 1600 load weight each. I'll havta' check again..

Hey, I am thinking of automating my small lawn care business and I would like to ask you about the price. Has anyone done that? What does the price depend on?
