with the big ends in on the arms- it is too wide to fit my jd 2600 plow- it this normal? the plow is set for cat 2 or cat 3, and i want it hooked cat 3. the best i can get is 1 big end one small- it has play.
also the tb doesnt work- the cable is free- which of those 3 holes should the linkage be in? mine is in the middle. zero response.
last night i wanted to turn the tractor off to check something- i turned off the key, but got out of the cab without shutting off the fuel. ran for several minutes like that before i got back in saw the tach etc off- did i hurt anything?

YOU NEED A LITTLE SIDE TO SIDE FREE PLAY IN THE THREE POINT OR YOU WILL BEND OR BREAK SOMETHING. AS FAR AS RUNNING WITH THE KEY OFF-- I KNOW OF GUYS WHO RAN THAT WAY TO CUT BACK ON TACH HOURS FOR TRADE IN TIME. THEY WOULD TURN THE KEY ON TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES THEN OFF AGAIN.

I addressed the sway blocks at the end of your other post, sway blocks should have the small end in,with the plow hooked up the distance between the 3 point arms should be about 32 inches on the inside.

With the position control lever all the way forward you should be able to raise and lower the 3 point arms with the traction control lever,if not check fluid level.
