Having trouble getting fuel to pump have flex line off from final filter to pump not getting fuel to pump pump should pump fuel through final filters to pump then once there I will crack lines at injectors have cranked it over a fair amount this is a rebuild so complete system was dry with rebuilt pump

Its a simple process, you have to get fuel to the pump- or you run the risk of screwing it all up,, maybe flex line isnt the way to go

That flex line is mandatory, I forget right off what happens if you make it a metal line, don't change it to a metal line. When I prime a fuel system I lightly pressurize the fuel tank with the inlet line loose on the pump. The outlet from a shop vac or a leaf blower will do it. Compressed air and a rag over the inlet works too, just be careful not to over pressurize it. Once you have fuel to the pump cracking the lines and cranking the engine generally gets it started fairly quickly.
