Can I get some detailed pictures of how the powermax belly sickle mower is hung and driven.  What kind of drive is it for the sickle?  wobble box?  How long is the sickle

Thanks!
David

57" mower, runs off the front PTO using the mule drive. Pitman drive. Does an excellent job. Will have to get other pics for you showing the attachment. It connects to the mule drive in the attachment points. Right side cable is longer than the left side.

Thank you! It took awhile to get past the fear of scratching new paint. But I realized after using my other 720 that they are too fun not put to work. The sickle bar mower works very well and does a great job along my dad's 1/4 mile driveway and on my property. Snow thrower on the front works very well also.

Does the sickle mower hook up to the same drive that mower deck hooks too and runs or do you have to get a different mule drive?

Craig, if you can find one in good shape and at a decent price its a great piece to have. It took me 6 years to find one. The one in the picture was in excellent condition when I purchased it. Used very little as you can see. I was told maybe 5 times. Appears to have origional paint and decals. Was stored inside its entire life. Had to go all the way to Iowa to get it. A friend is from that area and got it for me during a Thanksgiving trip back home. It mows just like my dads 82R.

I will get some pictures this weekend as I will be taking it to our local Heritage festival along with my other 720 and accessories. Also taking my 190XT.
Mine was missing the right side lift cable which is no longer available. I went to a local poultry supply company that sold me 1/8" cable and the crimps to make the cable stops with. Luckily, a friend had the crimp tool and I took the attaching ends off a old cable and made a factory looking lift cable for the right side. The left side uses the left side belly mower cable. Very easy to connect to the tractor. V-belt goes thru the mule drive just like the mower deck. The hardest part is getting it thru the opening at the battery/frame. Not sure why they made that slot so narrow.

I have had a sickle bar setup for about 25 years just now found a reasonable priced 620 to put it on! Also found an 82T last week! We have had at least 1 Allis on the farm since 1976! 190XTD then 175,220,190XT III parts machine,7050, 5x 7030's, 185,185,6080 fwd, 175,6080 parts machine, 7060ps, Gleaner N5, then a month ago an 8070PS! But always wanted a 616,620, or 720 for that sickle bar!
