Our 8050 steering unit was leaking so we took it apart and put new seals in it. When we started the tractor the steering wheel almost broke my hand when it started turning one direction. I tried to turn it back but it would immediately turn the other way going til it hit the stop. I thought maybe I had hooked the hoses up wrong, but they were correct. So we took it apart and reassembled it slightly different than we did the first time, that cured the problem. But it will still leak for a while if its been sitting over winter, neighbor had the same problem with his 8050 steering unit.

You need to find one from a 7010 thru 7080 tractor, which is identical to your old one.

PeteMN They have timing marks on all the parts. You are very lucky to get back in time that easy without knowing where the marks go.
