Anyone have any experience with those "greenhouse" type protable sheds? Looking at possibly getting one for my round baler in and was wondering how durable they are. We rent a place so putting up a permenent shed is not possible

we had one where i worked it worked good the cover was garented for 10 yrs. but we did have a bad wind storm when it was about 8 yo and blew the cover off--- but it was a big shed 150x 60. i cant remember the brand it had doors on both ends and one door was left open thats why the wind took ot down- if both doors had been open or closed i think it would of been ok. all in all i like them.

My brother bought one about 4 years ago to put his boat in. It's worked out good for him. Has gray tarp with what looks like PVC tubing for a frame.

the heavy duty ones are working good around here...i had a cheaper one and it didn't last a year! saw one in colorado that held over 15,000 big round bales of hay! that was the biggest one i've ever seen! the neighbor has one for a riding arena, he also has...had... a morton barn, we had 80 mph winds one night....the hoop building stayed, the morton went to the other nieghbors place!

There are some still built in USA so look for that. I had one and the hoops were great but the canvas tore apart after about 6 years. Mine was about 12' wide, 8' high and 18' long and it was around $600 when I bought it.

They are all around this area for equipment storage and hay barns, I have seen the same ones up for over 5 years with no holes or ever turning over and we have some 75mph+ winds.

My brother put on of the coverit ones up it stood for 8 years with no problem. got broke when a tornado came through. Before I retired from the airforce we put large aircraft ones up at many overseas locations. they held up very well in all kinds of conditions, But they were also expensive. If you get one of the cheap menards ones it should last till the cover warrente is up. I bought one of the cheep sams club ones but took it back after trying to assemble it and found two connectors were missing. I forgot to add it is abasoultly a must to try them down real well or you'll have problems.

The ones I am referring too are a heavier type canvas, I don't think they are the thin plastic.

I have one and the only thing I suggest is to make sure it is anchored very well. My insurance company bought mine because it wasn't!
