My "blacksmith" has been welding on my points and what we have found out from the "old timers" that hang out there is that the front edge of the points is not supposed to be rounded like mine were and the leading edge that is supposed to dip down below the bottom line was completely worn away. One was also 1/2" shorter than the other. The short one will have an inch added to it, 1/2" on the other. I guess we'll know tomorrow as one of the guys has some land close by to test in.
