I came across this D-17 plastic toy tractor up in the attic the other day. Our
son, Bob, played with it when he was little, probably in the middle 60's. It is about 15 inches long and about 7 inches high. The only ID on it, is a stamped in name, "Empire" on the bottom. I haven't seen one like it for a long time. |

I bought one just like it at an antique dealer about 8 or 10 years ago for about $20. I thought I got a real good deal.

Pat about 10 years before that my Mom sent for a plastic D17 that was on the back of a cereal box, was a series 1 all orange & I played with it hard. Do not know whatever happened to it, broke it I guess. I know where one is about 3 miles from here in an Oliver collection & he too got it from a cereal box. He wants way too much for it but we are talking. Anyone else remember or have one of those? Thanks...Harvey
