I have a 4 row planter that is a pull behind ground driven unit. It is an orange frame with white fertilizer boxes and white, round metal seed cans, and uses plates in the base of the planter unit. The only marking I can find on the planter is "unit planter" on the rear of the seed cans. Can anyone give me any info on the model or series of the planter so I can find some manuals, etc.

Thanks

Sounds like 50 series units, could be 70 series units with white seed cans, I dont think the 50 series had white seed cans. If you had em side by side you can see   the difference,  the seed selection is the same on both series, the frame and drives are a bit different.  HTH

Thanks for the reply, is there anything I can look for to distinguish the difference between the 2. Any ideas where I can get manuals and parts, the fertilizer shafts are froze up, but everything else seems to be in good working order.

Thanks again

The 70 series parts book is available to look at in the AGCO Parts Book.
