Here are a couple pictures of #C30 that I finally got done enough to haul to the local show this weekend. It still has a couple small things it needs but it's good enough for this weekend.

Just a couple little details like a underhood muffler, A canvas seat cover, and a spec plate manifold would put you back in 1940. Great looking C complete with cultivators ready to go to work.

Great job as usual Lonnie! Love the way she looks on steel. Bill P has a wartime C on steel with an Athens 2 disc plow.
How does she steer with the short bellcranks and the ridged steel fronts?
Make you glad you don't have to run her all day?LOL!

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

That is NICE! good work. I'd like to drive a steel wheel one day to see how different it is from a rubber tired tractor.

Dream, I went thru the steering gearbox and the front pedestal so everything is tighter than a frogs but and it seems to steer fine with the short arm.
Jacob, other than the bouncing from side to side as the spikes roll around the biggest thing you would notice is that they don't coast, when you push the clutch in you stop. In the sod they are pretty nice but they shake you up on hard pack.

Very nice Lon!! Sharp! And I aint talking about those lugs either! lol
Wonder how it would do in a looser soil when farming? The steel wheels shouldn't get as much floatation as tires would they? Seems like the steel would bog down a little, but pull like a son of a gun with those lugs, anyone know?
