Last week I had to travel to Wisconsin for work. There was a snap coupler blade I wanted to look at so I rented a truck instead of a car for the trip. The blade has extensions, returns, and a ditching point. I was moving some items around in the shop yesterday so I thought I'd get a few pictures. I haven't tried it out yet but I hope to in the next week or so. Thanks.

guess you didn't want to put roof raks on the Stang to haul the blade back.....hehehe
I did though, for a 8' rock rake, in 1980.. nice find though WITH extensions and corners.... what's the Stang year? I had 4, all 67s( 1ht,2 C,1 fb),sigh I'd be rich now if I had them.... Jay |

Those are both good looking blades! I would like to have some box ends and a ditching point before I die.
Good looking Mustang too! |

I will say, you've got some nice toys my friend.
That blade should work well for the road on the east side of your house. As I recall, it needed some attention the last time I was there. LOL

Howdy Brian,
You have a pretty good memory, even though it's the road to the north! I also remember I wasn't around the shop when you arrived and my dad showed you my "unrestored" subsoiler as he didn't know you were buying the other one! I bet you were thinking "What have I got myself into!" I currently have two nice original subsoilers, one has the coulter set up and both have moles. Looking forward to the corn coming off and giving the coulter version a try. Thanks. Bryan |

Automatic Dave and Dakotasteve,
The ditching point attaches to the corner of the blade, if I remember correctly the left hand corner. The point of this attachment piece is hardened to prevent wear on the blade edge which is doing the digging. I'll try to post a picture or two of the ditching point as it is installed. Thanks. Some pictures of the manual description for a ditching point and some pictures of the point itself. The blade side plate or return comes off when using the ditching point. Thanks.

I recently picked up another blade myself. And a couple more plows..... I think I posted at the time that I found a ditching point at Amana. Got it from Alex. Well, this is an interesting arrangement. Got two posted before I ran out of space in the file manager..... Guess the other will have to wait.

Those are real nice,I'm looking for a snap coupler blade to go with my WD45 wide front with power steering that we just finished installing a new sleeve and piston kit. Grew up on a 45 so decided I needed to have a do over(LOL)
