What is the Dupont numbers for Persian Orange #2? Has anyone tried Oreilly's automotive paint in a rattle can? They can put it in a can. Thought someone might of tried it. Thanks, Tracy

I have painted a D-17 series 3 with Rust-Oleum "Allis-Chalmers orange" and was quite pleased with the color. I'd recommend ordering four cases at once to hopefully get good consistency between all the cans.

I have used the Rustoleum paint. It fades bad. I wanted some with hardener in it and PO 2 color. Thanks, Tracy

I used oreilly's to mix up persian 2 when cleaning up the rear end of my d15 s2, it had really good shine to it.

And if you happen to be using Nason by Axalta (formally DuPont) the colors I have found are:

NSN 655-IB Persian Orange #2
NSN YS290-IB Cream

Just had some mixed and the orange was a perfect match to some old Dupont Imron Persian Orange I had mixed many years ago.  Unfortunately I don't have the number for the Imron as the label is gone.
