JohnCol What do you do to keep the peaches from routing on the tree. This is the second year for this, I sprayed with fruit tree spray 3 times like it said and they still all routed

We just buy them at the farmers market. The dam deer destroy the trees before they get big enough to put on peaches. Sorry I don't have a good answer for you.

IF you had a late season frost as we did the fruit will either rot or as ours got to half dollar size and fell away.   Local orchards around Calhoun County IL used smoke pots and/or air movement fans to keep frost at bay and are receiving decent crops.

This year I didnt get time to spray even one time and here is the nice big peaches we got from it. over a bushel and we made jam out of all of them. The nectarines now did start to rot on the tree just a few days before they would have been ready but I picked the good ones  anyway and we made jelly out of the juice from them.
