I'm in the the middle of this and now need some parts.

I need to move the power steering pump from the generator to be belt driven.  Does anyone out here have a D19 power steering pump and bracket for sale?

The engine I am putting in came from a C Gleaner (230 gas).  I think I need a distributor from a 262 gas engine with the tach drive out the side.   Does anyone out here have that unit for sale?

Thanks in advance
Terry

Not much farmland in Champlin. I lived there for 3 years then Coon Rapids for 14 and now 4 in Oak Grove. What will you be using the D17 for? I remember years ago when I lived there, that there was a D21 sitting out about 1/2 mile from my house. Wish I had it now!

Hi Dean,

Yes, not much work for a D17 in Champlin although I am about 3 miles from that big corn maze that has a Twins logo built into it in Brooklyn Park.  I am originally from a hobby farm in southern MN near Albert Lea.  That is the source of all of these tractors.

Once repaired this D17 will be loaned out to a friend in Elk River that will use it for snow removal.

Thanks for asking...and good luck finding another D21!
Terry

Terry,
My mom grew up around Albert Lea.
I remember the day when our D17 IV showed up on a truck. I was only 5 but the D17 IV will always be my overall AC favorite.
The only thing I farm is 2 acres of grass but at least now I have a 917 to do the work.

Dean,

Those early encounters with these Orange tractors sure leave an impact for life don't they....

What a small world...I grew up right outside of Freeborn (pop 298).  What town is your mom from?
