The twins have a new home. The 66 on the right is original
and operates. The 66 on the left is mostly rebuilt. It was used
on soybeans last year and worked great.

I've seen both of those units, and they are waaayyyyy above scrapper material. It's more like he's hiding them from other collectors. They are both very nice pieces.
It would be fun to see them in action. I may have to make a road trip to see them working up close and personal.

You can buy the crop lifters from Gaterman Manu.
in Manitowoc Wi.. They worked real nice and are not
that expensive

The Gatermnan lifters are longer and a little more heavy duty.
The have a hole for the sickle point and bolt on under the sickle.
The extra length allows the sickle to ride higher above the ground
so you do not pick up rocks
