I was given this from a neighbor.
He knew John Buzzell. Plant manager at Oxnard until 1982. Started off at La Porte plant. These are likely common, but figured I'd share. ![]() |

Yes, the 7000 series tractors dang near sold themselves with the features that they offered. In 1975, Paton,Iowa, celebrated their centennial. I drove a brand new 7060 to first place in the tractor pull. As I recall,all we did was remove the front weights, and add a donut weight to the rear. I think that it was the 12,000 pound class. Me and a guy on a 1456 IH both made a full pull on the first pull. More weight was added to the skid and I won the pull off. I think that I had the air on at the time. This year marks 150 years for Paton.
