We went to Parris Island on Thursday and were able to visit with Kurtis for 5 hours. Friday he graduated from boot. We are very proud of him and are glad to have him home for 10 days! He leaves on the 18th to Jackson NC for Marine Combat Training for 29 days.

Congratulations to Kurtis for completing boot camp. That is quite an accomplishment that separates the men from the boys. Thank him for serving our country.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

I know you are proud of your son and so am I.  I am only about 70 miles from Jacksonville and would consider it an honor to help him in any way during his tour in NC.  Email me and I will be happy to send you my telephone number for him to contact me.  Thank you and I thank your son and his comrads for protecting our freedom.

My sincere congatulations to your son for completing one of the toughest basic trainings in the world.  I did the Army Basic in '55 - I'm sure nothing like you son went through - and I cannot tell you how proud I was to have completed it.
Let me wish him the very best and my thanks for his service.
Good Luck!

Congratulations to your son and to you both. Thank him for his service to our country. My son graduated from MCRD in California years ago and is still in the Marines. He was a DI in Parris Island for three years and I know he is proud of your son also. Thank you all once again!
