I would like to add a heater to my 1840 but the only factory option I see is an either injector. Is there an aftermarket available or would it work to put a heater in the bottom radiator hose? I have read that you need to put a couple of magnetic heaters on the hydraulic oil reservoir. Anybody done this or know of someone who has?

I think 1840's also had a propane injector setup available, too.

My Dad has an 1845C, and we were able to get a Case block heater for it from the Case industrial dealer.  It is the usual frost plug type, and it works good. A magnetic heater for the hydraulics might not be a bad idea, but we've never used one.

Thanks guys, I'll call my dealer tomorrow. I have the original parts manual but maybe it was omitted or I just plain missed it.
