We all know that baling is hard work, but there is something soothing about a photo like this. There is something about the consistancy of it, about knowing the value of hard work and the satisfaction from a job well done. (Not to mention that is a fine looking 200!) Warm sun on your shoulders and the relief when a cool breeze finally comes by for an instant. How good that cool water from a jug tastes, and how resting under a shade tree is so satisfying. The comraderie of working with others for a common goal-even if you have to pay the others when the job is finished.
I think maybe that is enough nostalgia for now.........
If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

That  348 is the best baler ever made.  Bar none.  I can't fault you for that.  But if you don't own a NH bale wagon, to pickup those bales, you should be institutionalize...........

Jealous of you already cutting hay. We won't be cutting and baling until early July most likely.

I was going to ask how you handle the bales, pick them by hand or automatic bale wagon?

Really a Van Brunt with John Deere's name on it so I guess that is ok. I guess.
