What  newer style heads will fit on an N6.  Had one guy tell me that the R series are a direct match and one guy told me they wont fit without modification.
I am looking at buying an N6 but  would need to find heads for it.

Thanks in advance
Brad

Well, you gotta know what year N6 it is.....1981 or older (old original mount)...or 1982 and newer (same mount up til 1996 or 1997).........then there's always a chance that someone installed a 1982 feederhouse on a 1981 combine !! (rare, but I have seen one).

Its an 1984 N6 with 1040 engine and 880 thresher hours coming up for auction.  Its just that the heads dont look so hot and might need to find differnt heads and wasnt sure how easy they would be to fiind without going to a newer style.
