I saw one in the weeds behind some tourist cabins in Red Lodge Montana, summer of 78.

It was on the road my first job out of college.   But I can't remember what I did at work last Friday.  Funny how your memory works.

I think it struck me because I had seen something like it in old Popular Mechanics we had laying around when I was a kid.

Seen this before. Still pretty darn cool! I never knew they made it into production either. Seems they worked well. Never make it today, too much trouble to make OSHA compliant.
