Just picked up a Snobee that I think is 5 hp. It is single stage. Got it running and it runs dang well. And since it is MN, it is snowing again so I tried it out. It blows snow further than my 8 hp 2 stage!
The chute bounces around quite a bit. Does anyboy have a solution to that?
It is serial number 4-001984 The decals of A/C make me believe it is an early 60's model. How old would this be? It is funny....no safety devices anywhere on it.
I'll post pictures later on Monday.
Thanks
Terry

I think the 4 in the s/n makes it a 4hp. I have a 6 and an 8....still looking for the 4! The chutes on mine dance around a lot also. I think that is just the way they are. Maybe it helps them throw snow further! Have fun....

All those older single stage AC snow blowers did that right on up to the 90's with Agco Allis's. No easy solution. It don't hurt anything. I asked grandpa once about that on the B212, he said it did it since it was new.

Further question...do you have to pull off the covers on yours to fill the fuel tank? |

Here are the pics. The second one sorta shows how tough it is to fill these with gas.
