Nice looking tractors, I'm a sucker for the unstyled WC's. What size rear tires on that one and what is the lever for mounted on the frame in front of the mechanical lift?

Where does the CA stencil on the left side of the radiator go? Should it be a little higher so it is not behind the steering rod? On my CA I have it a little higher but still should have been higher. The right side there is no obstruction so it doesn't matter, but I think they should be same on both sides.

lonnie , your list looks pretty long to me.Don this WC is up graded to be user friendly. ( elect start, alternator, & distributor.)Dave , I bet you did have a CA like that before.Jim, that is a D17 in the background, but sorry it has a JD disc behind it. nobody has come up with a AC disc for me yet. JimND, the wife & I took them for a ride yesterday over to the neighbors & she fell in love with the CA. Dave watch it , that case backhoe isn't really that bad, being I don't have a hoe for my I-40.

WOW!!! Two very nice tractors. Also, a starter on a beautiful flattop WC. Not original equipment by a long shot but great to have.
That is a very late CA tractor since you have a mounted traction booster guage. They did not come out to very late in the model run.
Good Luck!

Bill it's a 1951 so I think the snap couple and traction booster must of been added at a later date.

NICE looking pair, although the WC is purdier. : )
What's the serial number on that CA. It doesn't have the right air cleaner for a 51 either. Is the electrical box on the WC handy in that position? I thought of putting mine on the left side of that post?? |

Ctucker, the CA is serial #9764 with eng# E157317GA, think it should be a 1951. acwdwcman , the serial # on the WC is 25402 wich makes it a 36 according to my book. I don't really know the difference between the 36 & 37 as far as looking at them. but I'm sure alot of changes could have been made in 60 to 75 yrs on both tractors.

I took a second look at the air cleaner & it is different than my 1950 CA & my 1952. they both have an air cleaner like a b or c .

That would be a 1951 tractor number unless you can't see the 1 in front of the rest. Tractor number should be CAxxxx . If it had a 1 in front, it would match your 1952 engine number which should be CE157317G. I don't know when the air cleaner was changed but it might be correct for a late 52 engine which you apparently have. When was the SC available? I always thought 1953. ??? Maybe you have a late 52 original with one of the first SC set ups???
