Here is your picture lightened up a bit. Yep, that is a C front end with the notches cut out of the bottom of the rad shroud. It also looks like the back tires are a good distance out from the fenders and they are turned in. Nice looking tractor and it's Orange. "B" careful or the Orange bug might bite and you'll end up selling off rice burners so you can add to your AC collection. Charlie |

So I have a C? Or a B with C stuff?
I rode out to grandpa's for Thanksgiving & we got all the tractors out. I saw by the shifter where the ID number is, just didn't think to look at it. All I know is that this is the same tractor I leaned on when I was a kid! Here's a better pic with most the tractors together! wiener43, your 440 is just the big brother to my first motorcycle, a LTD400. If you haven't already, go to kzrider.com for all the info you might ever need. My screen name is the same there.

B and C shared many parts and so can have been mixed later. The first letter of the serial number will tell what the transmission and maybe the final drive came from.

Hey Ray... I know where you're talking about...I just moved from Great Bend down to Pratt... You should have no problem on that trip to work. I rode my bike out there quite a bit, sometimes past the bike path... Enjoy your AC

Let me add myself to the welcome aboard list. Fun tractors to play with.
The tractor in your picture is a C all the way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Here's a better pic with most the tractors together!] |

Wellcome to the site Ray, That's a nice looking C you have there. The top speed for a C is 7.5 M.P.H.
