You also have to consider all the AC tractors built in the '80's in Japan and Italy. They were sold by AC but in the case of the Japanese made one, none of it is AC except the name. The Fiat made 6060's and 6070's at least had AC engines.
If they come out with a ZTR model, I'd be interested, if there is a dealer in the area. |

Yah , what is with them eating belts, I have gone through a couple myself, the Agco Allis version on the farm is 10 years old and still on the original. From what I've been told this is a new deck design, going to have to modify something, I just tried a B size belt , well see how long it lasts,
And for those of you naysayers, remember it is made by Simplicity, a company that allis once owned. This is as close to Allis Chalmers as it gets, Its kind of neat to look at the serial plate and see, ALLIS CHALMERS LAWN.COM Milwaukee WI. 53201, maybe some ex Allis employees working for B+S are responsible for bring the name back?

I was told that during a meeting of the "higher ups" at briggs and stratton, the idea of putting the Allis-Chalmers name on one of their existing products was discussed. It was decided to test it out and see how it went. And we are now, almost 2 years after the announcement and they are still being built and sold. keep it going Briggs and Stratton. |
