Now that I have my Dad's CA about finished, my wife was going through some things from my Mom & Dads place and found the original purchase order for the Allis C my dad bought in 1946. Long story short, thought I would begin a search for the old C now that I have the serial #'s. I guess it would be kind of neat if my son's and I could find it. Having two of their Grandpa's tractors would be great. Anyway, the serial # is 37439. I think that makes it an early '46. We farmed near Anoka, MN. for about 24 years. I'm not sure of where it ended up. I know we had it for several years after Dad bought the CA. Here's a photo of my older Brother and I going for a spin. I greatly appreciate any help in locating the old girl! Thanks, George |

That is awesome. Thanks for sharing. That is my quest as well. I and my Dad know where my Grandpa's D17 is but we have to convince the guy to sell it.
