 Topic: Need suggestions

I am restoring a 611ltd and the plastic dash panels are faded. Does anyone have suggestions for what to use to return these to black? I have tried paint and was not satisfied and the restoration polish for vinyl cladding didn't work. I am hoping someone has a solution.

Did you use the spray paint specifically made for plastic? That has worked well for me.

there are a few brands that will work well... the main thing is to CLEAN the parts and PRIIMER with something that sticks well to the plastic... then paint...
Google " paint plastic car parts" and you get a lot of info and You Tube videos.. Many are professional and use air sprayers... There are some that use rattle cans, but need SPECIFIC type.

I use Rustoleum's Matte Black Trim & Bumper paint. Works quite well. P/N 251574. Like anything else, the surface needs to be super clean. Steve@B&B

I have used a plastic primer paint , then a plastic paint , then top coated with regular rattle can color I needed . The first 2 coats can be light spray on clean surface to get a good bond for the finish color
