I am putting new brakes on my 1040 model B I have the brakes on but I cannot seem to get the spring on as it is to be does anyone have any pictures of how the spring goes on the brake Thanks

One end hooks over the top of the bolt on the end of the brake lining and the other end hooks in the slot in the front of the housing. I usually make a loop on the end of a stiff wire and stick it up through the slot and hook it onto the spring and pull the wire with a vice grip until the spring is stretched enough to hook in place.
