2 bottom Allis SC plow, anyone know the number? is it a turning plow? Would it be good to put in a foodplot in (years old) unbroken ground? is $150.00 a fair price? what to look for as far as wear, Thanks!

its looks like a CA plow, i have one and works great, but this one is missing colters, i wouldnt pay more than $100 for it, if it had colters it would be a good deal. Steve

Looks like a 2 bottom version of the 3 bottom one I have on my D-14. If SC equipment is scarce in your patch it's not too bad, even without the coulters.I'd offer $100, settle for $125.You can turn a lot of soil with it and NOT break your back . Lifetime investment. All it needs is a good cleaning.Less $$ than filling the truck up this week !$5.25US/G)

Yes it's a 52 plow and no you can't buy coulters from AGCO.  You'd be lucky if you could get plow shares for it.  Mike

No coulters,no big deal if your using it for food plots on ground that hasn't been plowed for years, you wont want them on anyhow, they'll just plug up the plow.Shares are availble if you know what number the frog is.Offer a 100.00 and see what happens.
