I inquired about an AC 2000 plow, and asked the fellow which bottoms it had. He said he found a number on a moldboard which was 326070 and one on a share reading 18592. I can't find those numbers in a parts book, even with the AC prefixes. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

My plow bottoms book says that moldboard fits a 333, 363, and 373 bottom. 16" right hand. Plow bottoms are not in the plow parts book they are only in the plow bottoms book.
I dont have a clue about how to identify the bottom more closely at this point. Digging deeper there are some visual differences between the frogs. The late 373 frog had a strap welded in left to right down towards the ground that the other three dont. And has a short landside not as long as the frog. The early 373 and the 363 does not have the strap but uses the short landside. The 333 uses both the short and long landsides. All four use the same shin part number, but different frog numbers. Ive not examined the plow share numbers to see if they are the same, but your short number didnt fit any. The 333 used 325552 or 326086 for 16" RH. The 363 used the same. The 373 used 334190 on the early and late bottoms plus the 337848, 334866, and 349031 (has 5 bolt holes) on the late bottom. All these bottoms have three bolts into the frog and one to a strap at the back of the modlboard. Gerald J. |

Gerald, thanks so much. I guess if I can find out the proper share number, I can then find out the bottom. I have lighter ground, so I am trying to find the bottom that fits my application, as well as one that I can get parts for. I think the 373 and 387 are the common ones. Thanks again.

375 and 387 have been the ones with the most aftermarket parts. These days, only the 387 which also fit a Monroe plow.
My 2000 has 392 bottoms, parts are not common and not in my bottoms book, and when found are expensive, but its a good plow for my mid Iowa loam soil. Though I grew better crops with out plowing. Gerald J. |

All the plow bottoms I have seen have painted on numbers and by now most are not ledgable any more. I might add that he 375 bottom does not plow good in waxie ground and the 387 will pull harder than 392 in same ground. For what its worth. Fred
