We are slowly getting the 220 sheetmetal etc back to factory as it is an ex-cab tractor with all the usual parts amd pieces missing. Next thing is the grab handles, one on the side of the hood and I think there is supposed to be one on the fender extension? Need the handles, or a decent  picture of one so we can reproduce acurately. Is the same handle used on other machines we might salvage from? Thanks in advance.

Butch - took me at most 5 minutes on the AGCO web site to find out that the grab handle on the side of the hood, part number 70243594, is the same as on the 180/185.

Butch - that hood side handle is the only detachable grab handle shown in the 220 parts book.  I used the search feature on the whole parts book and that's the only one. The fender has a built in grab handle at the top.  The diagram does not show one on the fender extension.  I suppose you could put one there if you couldn't reach the one at the fender top.  Mike

Thanks Mike, that AGCO partsbooks site loads so slow for me I quit trying to use it. I thought I remembered seeing a pic or pics of handles on the extension but its no biggie. Plenty of 180s and the like in junkyards to pick one from.

190's also used them. they are in the agco heritage catalog, and they are very affordable.

Butch - what would be cool is if you added the headlight/cast handles from an early 190 with sloped front fenders to your 220 fender extensions...you'd have 3 headlights on each side...that'd be pretty awesome looking at night.

They are reasonably priced in the heritage book. Only 1 on the side but I put one on the fender extention because I couldn't reach the built in one on top of fender.  Doyle

Ah Ha! Thats the pic I remembered. The handle you added to the extension looks good and functional. Hope our 220 looks as good when done.
