I got a start on the painting of my One-Ninety this weekend...

Front tires are done.

Front side panels and grill.

Insturment panel cover.

Painted the orange sheet metal parts I had ready to go yesterday, tires I had done earlier.  Yesterday was a real good day to paint, 65-70 degrees, sunny, very little wind and bugs.  The paint went on real well with no problems.  Will be working on the hood and other side paenls this week and hope to shoot more paint next weekend with similar results.  Just wanted to share.  Thanks.

That is looking great so far!  It's giving me something to shoot for on mine.  How did you paint the grille?  Orange first, then cream?  I have to get the tranny and rear end put back together on mine first...

Like the looks! specially the cream and silver on the rims with no overspray on the tires.

The front grill looks great with the cream white standing out so nice straight and bright.

nice job.  i have to ask a rookie question.   How did you do the front tires so good?  did you paint them first and then mount the tires, or did you mask the tires off.  I only tried this once and tape doesn't like to stick to the rubber, so I'm trying to learn a better method as yours look flawless.

Thanks for the comments.  The paint is PPG Delstar Acrylic.  On the grill I painted the cream first and then masked it off, I also masked off tires with tape, painted the cream first, masked that off and then painted the silver, I've painted rims before the tires are mounted but it seems they always get scratched up when mounting.  I have found all the parts needed for the rear end to go back together.  I got a used housing and ring gear and pinnion, new third, forth gear, collar and a used second gear that looked better than the one I had.  I think we are set to go back together just need to find the time to do it between finishing harvest and planting now not much free time.
