Well today I spent about two hours looking it over and it was not running right when it arrived so I decided to remove the valve cover and sure enough I found one of the exhaust push rod was off the adjustment screw so I was able to get it back on track and checked that the rod wasn't bent by turning it around a couple times then turned it over a few times to make sure the valve's were moving freely, then put the cover back on and fired it up. It sounds great now and I also put it under load and it has full power again. As of plans, I'm going to work it around the ranch and also do some body work and fix it up nice again then give it a nice fresh coat of paint sometime.

Nice machine, with live hydraulics no less.  Where did you find it?

My great Grandfather bought this machine brand new back in 63' and it has stayed in the family since. It was on my Uncle's dairy farm in upstate NY and when he passed away last July, my Aunt asked me if I would like to have the tractor, so I saved up my pennies and this year and finally found a semi to ship it across the country from uship.com
