OK, I gotta ask, what's the green bar setup on the D-15 for ?
Just curious as I'm not a real farmer...
BTW, two , 1 minute passes with your new toy ,would seed the wife's veggy garden!

Great drills.  Just make sure all the moving parts are lubed.  It does look to be missing the agitator bar in the fertilizer box.

You may want to consider not even utilizing the fertilizer box at all, and just use it for seeding/drilling.  From what I have heard, fertilizer as it is hard on the metal, and you really have to keep it clean..  It may be the reason yours looks so good inside (that they did not utilize the fertilizer option)

Well that’s exactly what I’ll do. It’s not like it’s going to be used that often anyways if it is that means I’m doing something seriously wrong with my hayfields lol

I would say very hard.  Seems most of the time, the box was rusted out from not being cleaned.  My grandad always hosed out the box and tubes then gave them a coat of diesel.  I've followed suit and still use it.

I wonder compared to McCormick and John Deere and other companies that made drills how does the Allis drill rank?
