Had some time to take some pics and look over the WD....not too bad of shape, decent sheet metal, one good rear tire. Rear rims are shot...but it turns over! It has been sitting outside for years.....

So what's with the white rims? Is that's something the previous owner did, or did WDs come that way?

I think someone repainted it at one time since it has a "power crater" sticker on the motor.

Eldon,
You're in luck, I notice it has the very rare modified fender tail! LOL

Eldon-

I can't believe it.

You really are the luckiest man on the planet.

If the rear tire/rim was fixed, around here, $500 wouldn't even touch that WD.

Let me guess, while you were there, the owner gave you 19 pounds of old gold coins that he didn't want messing up his house and two of those misprinted upside down airplane stamps. Next weekend you are probably going back to haul off a junk car out of his garage, an old 64 Pontiac GTO convertible that he parked in the fall of '64 and never drove again.

Now that I think about it, Eldon, when I grow up, I wanna be just like you.

Most generally, I'd agree with that statement very strongly.

If I understand it correctly, that seller came to him!

Clovis you are right....the seller did come to me on this one, but I did have my "Orange Bait" out. I do get  some nice finds out here due to the fact that there aren't many Orange people out this way, but of course if I want to sell anything I almost have to move it to the midwest.....Steve I know what you mean....the cylinder rods are a bit rusty.....Johan I am probably a bit far from you, but you are welcome to come over for a visit!
