I mow commercially, so I want simple, I put about 350 hrs a year on the dixie, now. As for hills, 20º is all you can do, unless you don't mind ruts. I have had mine on 33º slopes, but if that slope can't be mowed up and down, and diagonally, occasionally, you WILL have tire marks/ruts to deal with. As for the other stuff, tilling, plowing, bush hog, flail mower, That's what my fleet of lil k'boters is fer...

We have to mow all the abandoned farmsteads on the quarters the farm rents. I mow them once a month. It's goes pretty fast with a 21' woods batwing on a old IH 1086. It looks pretty good if I make two passes and lower the deck to 4" for the second pass

I got my Simplicity on credit. 48 month, 0% interest. I pay $100 a month, but that's more than they wanted per month. If you don't pay off these type loans on time, you gotta pay all the interest that you would've at the 20 something %. I've only mowed a few times with it and I really like it. I was using the 5020 with a 6' finish mower behind it and the new one rides smoother than that did. And with the finish mower I had to walk around behind the lawn mower and catch the few places it couldn't get.

I used to mow with a 60” Mott finish flail mower behind the CA and liked that setup. I switched to a 48” front deck grasshopper about 6 Year’s ago and wouldn’t go without it. The front deck mower has a lawn tractor or mid deck zero turn beat hands down for cutting up close to buildings or in the orchard/treeline.
