Correction, mowed the weeds in the lawn today. What a dusty job. Some of you guys that don't breath too good outta wear a dust mask. Didn't finish the front yard, gots 1 hive of bees that are 100% nasty sitting along the west side of the lawn. They don't have enough honey to last thru the winter so I went to feed them yesterday. Those dang females chased me clear down to the shed. Only got about 20 stings on my legs. They don't like to go into a dark shed. No they wasn't wearing any dazy dukes. Bee careful out there guys, it didn't matter which way I was blowing clippings, it was super dusty.

We finally got some rain so it should be a little better mowing now.  I'm looking at driving around knocking off the tops of the weeds myself.  It's been so dry I haven't even thought about mowing till now.  It'll probably start raining every day now so I won't be able to cut and then it'll get so long it'll be a jungle.  Oh well, just take longer and get more seat time!

Crazy how the noxious weeds seem to love this hot dry weather. Grass is brown but velvetleaf, ragweed and water hemp have grown two feet in the yard. I won’t be able to get some of it as the brush piles from storm damage prevent the rider from getting to them.

Dry weather is actually helping me. Still too many sticks to mow. I pick-em up every day, getting closer. Still have a shed to finish demolishing before I get serious about mowing again.

We have had very little rain here since the end of June. I made half the number of second crop round bales as in years past. I remember back in the early 60's we had summer like this.

We have had so much rain here the grass hasn't been cut in over two weeks and the last time I cut it was really too wet. Temperature isn't too bad but the humidity is running 90 to 96% so everything is slow to dry. I'm getting a bit moldy myself.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

It's been so hot and homid here that I have to remove my hearing aid when I go outside to work, they get all sweaty and start making funny noises, I ordered a hearing aid dryer today because the warranty runs out on them befroe long.

Well the hay is still down and the rain went around. I promised rain and it didn't show. Guess I'll try my hand at being a weatherman
