Mount Ford Loader on WD45

So Ive found a guy with a couple of Ford loaders for sale, I haven't seen them in person yet but apparently he has the mounting sub frames for both as well. The inside width on one is 38" the other is 40". I realize that a hydraulics upgrade will be in order to use the 2 way hyd unit, the trip bucket one may work out ok off of the OEM hydraulics on the WD45. Has anyone adapted a ford loader to a WD45, how much fab work was involved?

	could be 'interesting' to get the 'geometry' right... and , cylinders needed to be replaced as Ford is 1500PSI ?, AC is 3500PSI, unlsee you use a crank driven pump setup.

	Thats a good point about the difference in Hydraulic PSI, I hadn't considered that, although I'd really like to go with a crank mounted AUX pump and have hydraulic control on the bucket. If anyone has a pump and controls they'd be willing to part with I'm looking for one. Has anyone got a measurement of the width between loader main frames for a 45? I'd like to know if these ones are close before I commit to buying them. Thanks, Richard.

	Richard, I have a WD with the Allis loader on it. Maybe you didn't see it when you were out here. You can come and take all the measurements you want! 	It shouldnt be too hard to make brackets to mount the sub-frame. I considered putting the one off the 53 jube on a 45 BUT already having 4 skid loaders, a 56 Deere 420 loader backhoe, 2 Case 580 ck loader backhoes and the ih 250-c crawler, I really didnt need another one! lol! IF you do it, be sure to put a standard hyd system on the tractor first so you can have live 2-way standard hyd system! You will thank yourself many times over for this! ---2-way cylinders on the bucket are a must. I have run many old trip bucket loaders in my time and despised every one of them! lol! It mostly depends on what you want to use the loader for and how often as to how you set it up.
