Eldon, I too share your love for a good snowstorm! There's something about a snow filled sky, a kind of a cozy feeling that a snowstorm brings. Of course now I'm off the farm and don't really need to be outside in it, I'd probably have a different attitude if I needed to work in it! Thanks for the pictures!

Charlie those pics are from 2 years ago when we came within 1" of the yearly record (119")...and that pic was taken in Dec. This year we have 20" already and looking at another 6 by tomorrow morning. I'm running my 170D this year because it has a tank heater on it, but I may have to switch the blade to the XT for a little more comfort.

My buddies just like to sniff my pants everytime I come in...guess they like those "outdoorsey" smells!

Mike I will take some fresh pics in the morning.....

I'm a little mixed emotioned on snow; I do like watching out the window, don't care much to work in it, used to love pushing it with my HD 7 crawler until it crapped out on me. If snow keeps coming the way it has been, we'll have plenty by spring. Thing is, in our area, alot of snow USUALLY means a fair amount of rainfall for the following growing season, and that is a good thing. I've seen enough open winters and dry summers to know I don't like it that way. Any way, thanks for sharing the pics, and you can send some snow my way, but I'm not looking to break any snowfall records, you can do that!! Darrel

Well we broke the November snowfall record set in '55.....by an inch. Fortunately the weather has warmed up and it has settled down purty good...but the last 8" was heavy and slow moving.  Sorry no pics today as it was raining and then the sun went down on me.....let's see what December brings!
