Would this loader fit onto a D14 by any chance? My D14 has a crank-mounted hydraulic pump and a farm-built FEL that is kinda rough. Been thinking about cutting it off and replacing it with the WD 9 loader that came on my WD45 and converting the bucket to hydraulic.
 
Is there a source that describes the characteristics (high/low pressure, flow rate) of the hydraulic systems on the various AC tractors and for the different loaders? I'm not sure who made the pump on my D14 but it would need to be consistent with whatever the loader expects.
 
I saw a post the other day indicating the parts are readily available for a Model 90 loader......is that true for the WD 9?

I don't know if it will fit but I would bet the front crank mount pump is low pressure high volume pump. If you used the standard cylinders off a WD9 you would severely limit your lifting capacity. If you could use the cylinders from your current loader it would be to your advantage.

C, are the WD 9 cylinders expecting a different sort of hydraulic pump? Or just in the lightweight category?
 
BTW, on the farm-built loader the lift cylinders respond quickly while the bucket cylinder is really p-o-k-e-y. Should I be looking for a narrorer diameter cylinder?

The WD and 45's that the loader was made for have a high pressure low volume pump. If you put low pressure high volume to those cylinders you won't be able to lift nearly as much and they will react way fast. 
BTW yes you probably could use a smaller cylinder.
