Good morning all. I am in the middle of restoring a 1951 G. I have finished restoring the air cleaner and according to the service manual it I need to add oil to the fill line in the bottom cup. The cup on my air cleaner has two snaps the hold the cup to the main filter, however there is no fill line. How much oil should I put in the cup before installing? Any info will be appreciated.

Bobby, I have two different shaped cups on all mine, but the oil level mark is at the same crease in both. After all these years its hard to see the stamping in them for the words.
Here's what they look like-

Thanks Joe, you’re exactly right. The cup I have is stamped exactly as you described. Guess it’s true what they say “ can’t see the forest for the trees”. Thanks for your help.
