i need some help. i need someone to re build a magneto for my 49 model c. any body yall would recommend? also the allis name on the hood is white letters with a big A and a big S at the end. i couldnt find a decal set that looks like it. everything is either blue or black thanks for the help |

Don't think the C ever came from the factory with white lettering. Steve is the man for magneto rebuilds.

The lettering had a shadow of white around the edges. You are probably seeing the remains of that.

Send the mag to Steve. You won't regret it. Done right for a little more now is worth a dozen done cheaps later. When I get around to rebuilding the gennie and other electrical on my C and my grandads' still original 1950 C, Steve is the ONLY one that will be getting them.
