Well I drove over to Scottsburg today to meet Burgie and see his toys! Was a great time and loved just chating and seeing his toys.. Like he said " one good reason to be single, no one gripes cause I bought another one!" All I know is he has some cool D's and his puuling tractors are to cool. His D15 hid pride and joy runs like smooth butter,,, Man. You ever get a chance he is one nice guy and you have to meet his brother-in-law who is in his 80's and a total riot.. Thanks Burgie for a great time and great info I will be over again,, hope to see you Saturday at the tractor show at Spring mill...

I  got home and moved round bales in the mud,, I think she thought my tractor was sexy..LOL I got two of the bolts out of one side but can only slide her in about half inch,, I did lossen the bolt on the tie rod. The other I got two out but can not even break the third with an impact wrench.. Thanks for showing me how to do that.. May just need to buy new tie rods,, I think that is what is holding the one up and the other is that blasted bolt. Saw  a lot of green and red headed to spring mill,, you need to bring some orange and pink!!

Just got in the house after getting the traction booster working on my new 45. Started reading the posts and came upon this one right away. Last spring my wife and I went to Spring Mill for a little get-away, amd found out about the tractor show last year. I've schemed and planned for a year to get to this one, and bring my dad's 37 WC. In early March I was checking on rooms and stuff for us and our best friends, my other brother Darrell and his wife. Turns out they have a granddaughter graduating next week end in Iowa from college, and we have a granddaughter celebrating her First Communion Sunday. I thought about calling the parish and the bishop about rescheduling, but my wife thought since all the mothers had the dresses and suits bought, the Rosary Society had the cakes baked, the church decorated that I did not have a snowballs chance in that famous hot place of getting any postponement.  So you guys are just going to have to do it without "ole dipstick" this year, dang-it!! Have fun and for all of you guys that have never been to Spring Mill, you are in for a rare treat!! We had our honeymoon there in 64 and took the kids either there or to McCormacks Creek State Park every summer. All 5 of our children spent their honeymoons there also. Sort of a record or at least a darned good run!!  EnjoY!!
You don't really have to be smart if you know who is!

Dipstick- wish you were coming. We only live about 8 miles from Spring Mill and love to go over there,, Sometimes as you say for the weekend for a get away. I will try to get some pics but it seems that one of my four children have done something with every camera in the house,,,
